The set contains 3 brushes with chunking hog bristle hairs and 3 golden synthetic hair brushes. The bristle brushes have a naturel hardness, which is ideal for less dense oil painting techniques and acrylic.The flexibility of the golden synthetic hair brushes make them especially great for acrylic painting, since acrylic colours are normally used in a more liquified consistency.
