1. GENERAL / CONTRACT CONCLUSION

The contractual territory is limited to Switzerland. For all deliveries and services, these Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply exclusively. Any significant deviations or additional agreements must be made in writing. A sales contract is concluded only after the order confirmation is sent by email or after the goods are shipped.

Note: Border areas and special customs zones (e.g., Samnaun, Sampuoir) may be treated differently: either we deliver including VAT, or we cannot accept orders depending on applicable customs regulations.


2. COMMUNICATION

To process inquiries correctly, we respond only to messages with a clear sender identity (first name, last name, place of residence). For legal or product-related inquiries, we may require these details before responding.


3. PRICES

All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the applicable value-added tax (VAT). We reserve the right to correct errors (including technical errors) in prices. Increases in raw material costs may result in price adjustments, except where a price has already been contractually agreed.


4. MINIMUM ORDER VALUE

The minimum order value is CHF 10.– (VAT included).

Orders from new customers must be submitted in writing. Orders below CHF 20.– are accepted only via the online shop; otherwise, an administrative fee of CHF 10.– (VAT included) may apply.


5. CUSTOM PRODUCTS

Products or custom finishes can only be ordered in writing. Products manufactured according to agreed specifications cannot be returned or refunded.


6. SHIPPING COSTS

Free shipping for orders with a merchandise value of CHF 150.– or more

Orders between CHF 75.– and 150.–: flat rate CHF 5.– for shipping and packaging

Orders below CHF 75.–: shipping and packaging costs CHF 10.– (including small quantity surcharge)

For certain bulky or specially packaged items, additional fees may apply:
- “Bulky goods”: one-time surcharge CHF 9.–
- “Special shipping”: flat rate CHF 40.– (VAT included)

Minimum order value remains CHF 10.–.


7. DELIVERY / DELIVERY TIME

Delivery is made exclusively according to these T&C. Orders within Switzerland are shipped via Swiss Post or, for bulky items, via a courier. In general, you will receive your goods within 3–10 business days, depending on seasonal workload and stock availability. Items with a longer delivery time are marked accordingly or offered “on request”.


8. PICK-UP

Pick-up is available at the following locations:

Artiloft Lausanne — Chemin de la Colline 1C, 1007 Lausanne, Switzerland

Artiloft Montreux — Avenue des Alpes 104, 1820 Montreux, Switzerland

Artiloft Zurich — Albulastrasse 24, 8048 Zürich, Switzerland

We reserve the right to request identification upon pick-up.


9. PAYMENT

Payment is made exclusively by credit card (charged at the time of order). Invoices or other payment methods are not accepted. Orders are processed only after payment authorization.


10. RETENTION OF TITLE

Delivered goods remain the property of Artiloft Sàrl until full payment is received.


11. TRANSPORT DAMAGE

Transport is at the recipient’s risk once the shipment leaves our premises. Any claims for transport damage must be submitted directly to the carrier; however, please inform us of any such damage within three days of receipt, in writing or by phone.


12. DEFECTIVE GOODS

Apparent defects must be reported within three days after receipt, in writing or by phone. We will review the claim and provide return or repair instructions.


13. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL / RETURNS

Items may be returned within 14 days after receipt. For each item, indicate the reason for return on the delivery note or in your return communication, specifying the item code. Goods must be returned in the original packaging or suitable packaging:

Custom-made products are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Consumables (paints, paper, maintenance products, etc.) are only accepted if the packaging is unopened. Return costs are borne by the customer unless the error is on our part. After verification, the corresponding refund will be issued. Damaged items returned without proper packaging cannot be refunded at full price.


14. COLOR DIFFERENCES

Display technologies and individual screen settings may alter color perception. Colors displayed on your screen may differ slightly from the actual samples. In case of doubt, check on another screen or contact us.


15. PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional codes received via promotions (newsletter, advertising, etc.) can only be used once per customer/order and are valid until the specified expiry date and minimum order value. Use is only possible during the online checkout; later redemption is not possible. Free shipping promotions apply only to standard shipping; not combinable with other promotions. Non-discountable items include, e.g., items already on sale, special editions, custom products, gift vouchers, heavy/large equipment, books.


16. LIABILITY / OTHER RESERVES

Subject to changes in prices, shipping options, printing errors, or technical modifications. Claims for damages are only admissible in case of intentional or grossly negligent conduct by us or our agents, or in case of violation of essential contractual obligations. This limitation does not apply to personal injury or health; in these cases, liability is full under Swiss law.


17. LEGAL JURISDICTION

Place of performance and legal venue in case of dispute: Lausanne. Swiss law applies.
