Talens Protection Dammar Varnish

Talens Protection Dammar Varnish is a traditional final varnish designed to protect finished oil paintings. Composition: Dammar resin and turpentine oil Key Features: • High gloss finish that enhances colours and protects the painting surface • Traditional formula with proven durability • Dries completely in a few hours • Can be mixed with Dammar Varnish Matt 082 to reduce gloss level and achieve desired finish • Easily thinned with turpentine for application consistency • Dry varnish coats can be removed with turpentine if needed Application Guidelines: • Apply only when the oil paint film has completely dried (approximately 1 year with normal layer thickness) • Use clean brushes, cleaned afterward with white spirit or turpentine • May show signs of aging over extended periods, including yellowing and crackling Warning: Highly flammable. Store safely away from heat and flames.
