Its velvety surface, soft to the touch, has an excellent ability to absorb pigments, allowing to multiply layers and effects without saturation.
Its low abrasive surface produces little pastel dust and allows for pigment consumption of the order of 30 to 40% less than the abrasive papers of the market.
Resistant to wet techniques, Pastelmat paper can be used with water paint or denatured alcohol without altering its unique characteristics.
