Sewing paper is a durable and nature-friendly material combining the qualities of the fabric and the appearance of leather. At the same time, it is flexible and robust, and easy to handle towels, belts, wallets, notebook covers, labels and other fashion accessories. It washes, irons, sews, pastes, embroiders, colores, embossses, punches, folds, braces.
A roll of FSC-certified 48x100cm sewing paper. Paper thickness: 0.55mm.
Wash the paper before use (max. 40°C by hand or washing machine) so it is more flexible, easier to handle and it brings texture and leather look.
Customization: Once washed, the paper can be customized as desired: Hand or sewing machine stitches (recommended 3-3.5mm stitches), Gluing (fabricated glue, hot glue or wood glue), Painting, Colouring, Tomponing (textile paints/inks), Embossing/Poisoning.
Tips: The twisted appearance of the paper is amplified after a switch to the dryer of the made-up piece. This aspect can be mitigated by ironing the room with very hot iron or steam. Iron the metallic colours on the reverse side.
