K-3 is the new high-end brand dedicated to the art of living, founded by Kenzo Takada and launched worldwide at the end of the Maison & Purpose, January 2020. The meaning of the name K-3 finds its roots in Japanese kanji which means three as well as in balance and harmony. For Kenzo Takada, collaboration with Clairefontaine was obvious. The artist's limitless creativity was manifested daily in various forms: painting, calligraphy. Some of the objects in this collection carry a Kintsugi, in tribute to Japanese know-how. This ancestral art invites you to repair a broken object by highlighting its flaws and scars of gold leaf, a tradition dear to the creative universe of K-3.
