Material: 100% linen, 360 grams per m², medium texture with 12.5 x 12.5 threads per cm². Frame: 2 x 4.5 cm thick beechwood laths with internal cross-bracing for superior structural support. Linen offers superior strength and stability compared to cotton, allowing for tighter stretching and minimal warping. The hand-applied primer consists of one layer of natural glue and two layers of acid-free, acrylic-based gesso, creating a universal surface for oil, acrylic, and water-mixable oil paints. Features include beading (rounded raised edge) to prevent canvas-to-frame contact, and includes extra beechwood pegs for future re-tensioning.
