The medium allows brush strokes to run slightly depending on the amount added, giving artists greater control over their work. It does not influence the drying time of the paint, making it ideal for layering techniques. Can be further thinned with white spirit or turpentine as needed. Flammable – store safely away from heat and flame.","brand":"talens","offers":[{"title":"Talens Painting Medium Normal 083 Bottle 1000 ml","offer_id":51791091302743,"sku":"24325083","price":74.0,"currency_code":"CHF","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0888\/7268\/1815\/files\/243250836.jpg?v=1758959280"},{"product_id":"talens-painting-medium-quick-drying-084-bottle-1000-ml","title":"Talens Painting Medium Quick-Drying 084 Bottle 1000 ml","description":"Talens Quick-Drying Painting Medium is a professional-grade auxiliary product designed for oil painters who require faster drying times and enhanced paint properties.\n\n• Composition: Vegetable oils, synthetic resins, white spirit, and siccatives\n• Volume: 1000ml bottle\n• Purpose: Increases flow and transparency of oil colours while significantly shortening drying time\n• Creates fatter, more workable paint that enhances brush stroke flow\n• Increases gloss and surface finish\n• Non-yellowing formula for long-lasting colour integrity\n• Improves durability and elasticity of the paint film\n• Thinner options: Compatible with white spirit or turpentine\n• Safety: Flammable product - handle with appropriate precautions\n\nIdeal for professional and serious amateur oil painters looking to accelerate their workflow without compromising paint quality or longevity.","brand":"talens","offers":[{"title":"Talens Painting Medium Quick-Drying 084 Bottle 1000 ml","offer_id":51791091368279,"sku":"24325084","price":74.0,"currency_code":"CHF","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0888\/7268\/1815\/files\/243250846.jpg?v=1758959280"},{"product_id":"talens-gesso-primer-1001-bucket-5000-ml","title":"Talens Gesso Primer 1001 Bucket 5000 ml","description":"Talens Gesso Primer 1001 is a professional-grade universal preparatory coating designed for versatile use across multiple surfaces and painting techniques.\n\nSPECIFICATIONS:\n• Volume: 5000 ml bucket\n• Composition: Acrylic resin dispersion with titanium dioxide\n• Drying time: Fast-drying within hours; ready for oil paint application after 24 hours\n• Application temperature: Above 10°C (do not freeze)\n• Water-thinnable formula for easy application and cleanup\n\nSUITABLE SURFACES:\n• Artists' canvas (cotton, linen)\n• Wood, plywood, hardboard, and cardboard\n• Mural grounds including fresh concrete, stucco, and bricks\n• All absorbent, dust-free and grease-free surfaces\n\nKEY FEATURES \u0026amp; BENEFITS:\n• Provides excellent adhesion for oil colours, acrylic colours, gouache, and mixed media\n• Universal primer suitable for multiple painting techniques\n• Can be tinted with acrylic colour to customize base tones\n• Water-soluble and easy to clean\n• Professional quality from Talens, trusted artist materials brand\n• For heavily absorbent grounds, pre-treat with Amsterdam Acrylic binder\n• Economical large-capacity bucket format\n\nAPPLICATION: Apply thin, even coats to clean, prepared surfaces.
